JOB TITLE: Software Engineer – Flight ControlABOUT THE JOB:Responsible for supporting the development of software that will advance future Military and Commercial aircraft products.REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related Engineering Discipline.
- Experience creating system and software architecture.
- Experience with derivation of system, software, and component level requirements.
- Experience in software development utilizing a Real-time operating system (RTOS) or an embedded software environment.
- Experience using C/C code development tools.
- Experience in Model Based Software Design using MathWorks MATLAB & Simulink toolsets.
- Experience with hardware/software integration.
- Experience with system level verification/validation.
- Experience with supplier development oversight, including verification/validation.
- Familiarity with RTCA DO-178, RTCA DO-254, SAE ARP4754A, SAE ARP4761, AMACC, 14 CFR Part 27 and Part 29 for commercial and military qualification and certification of aircraft software or systems.
- Inquisitive and driven engineer with a passion to innovate.
