Be involved in all aspects of software development from support of DO-178 planning documentation, software requirements generation, software coding/implementation, test procedure development and execution, and certification close-out documentation.REQUIRED SKILLS:

- 5 years embedded avionics software development
- DO-178 full life-cycle software development experience
- Experience generating DO-178 certification documents including PSAC, SDP, SVP, SDS, SDD, STP, SVR, SCI, SAS, and Traceability Matrices
- Experience generating software requirements
- Experience developing assembly language code (preferred) or ANSI C
- Experience developing bare-metal software for microcontroller
- Experience performing peer reviews on documentation and software
- Experience developing and executing software test procedures
- Experience creating software test reports
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, accountable and detail oriented
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team
- Ability to work effectively with remote team members
- Experience developing assembly language software for AVR 8-bit microcontrollers
- Experience with the Atmel Studio 7 IDE
- Experience with analog to digital (A-D) conversion
