Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Service Writer. As a Service Writer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our automotive service department.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their service needs
- Write up service orders accurately and efficiently
- Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Provide customers with updates on the status of their vehicles
- Explain repair recommendations and obtain customer approval
- Coordinate with parts department to ensure availability of necessary parts
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
- Upsell additional services and products to customers

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in automotive diagnostics, suspension, air brake, brake repair, or auto body repair is preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical customers
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Cash handling experience is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment
