Ready Set Gymnastics LLC is Hiring a Gymnastics Instructor Near Washington, DC

About Us

Founded in 2020, Ready Set Gymnastics LLC is a gymnastics program, based in Arlington, VA. We currently operate across the VA/MD/DC area. We offer group gymnastics classes, as well as private lessons and birthday parties.

We are an innovative company looking for high-level instructors to play an integral supporting role in the company's continued scale up and diversification. We want you to be a part of our energetic, creative, and fun-loving team. Ready Set Gymnastics is looking for instructors passionate about working with children!

Our mission is to provide high-quality gymnastics instruction in a positive environment using skilled coaches who share our joy of the sport.

Our vision is to bring about a positive change in the sport of gymnastics in the communities we serve by prioritizing fun, safety, and well-being over medals or egos.

Hiring recreational gymnastics instructors to work at least one shift a week. Must be able to commit to a year or more. Shifts are as follows:

- Mondays - Thursday evenings: 5pm-7:30pm

- Tuesday mornings: 9:30am-12pm

- Thursday mornings: 10:30am-12pm

- Saturdays: 9:30am-2pm

Gymnastics classes will take place at Langdon Park Community Center in NE DC. This location is not metro accessible, so applicants are responsible for their own transportation. Applicants must be 18 to teach.

Basic Requirements

  • Must be 18 to be considered.
  • Must obtain a USAG recreational instructor membership and "green light" background check from USAG (can obtain after interviewing/job offer, reimbursable after a successful 3-month trial period)
  • Must obtain CPR/First Aid/AED certification (can obtain after interviewing/job offer, reimbursable after a successful 3-month trial period) but bonus if currently holds one.
  • Ability to get to get to our NE DC location, which is NOT metro accessible
  • Note that reliability and punctuality are KEY to this position
  • Must have at least two (2) years of experience teaching and working with children ages 2-12 years old in a sports capacity, ideally gymnastics, tumbling or cheerleading. Please be sure your experience is listed on your resume.
  • This is a great position for high-energy individuals who love children
  • Ability to provide reference information for past similar positions that can speak to your experience, reliability, and work ethic.
