Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. Your role will involve planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, fostering social and emotional development, and promoting a love for learning.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational goals
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for children
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child's unique needs
- Foster social skills and promote positive behavior through effective classroom management techniques
- Plan and organize activities that stimulate cognitive, physical, and emotional development
- Collaborate with parents to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Assess and monitor each child's progress, providing feedback to parents/guardians as needed
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations
Experience:
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Familiarity with early childhood education curriculum frameworks
- Ability to create a positive and nurturing learning environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- First aid certification is preferred
