Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a home health nurse. This position is contract-based, and you will be compensated per visit as a 1099 independent contractor. As a home health RN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes, helping them achieve optimal health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health conditions.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patients' progress and responses to treatments.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, home care, and preventive health measures.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN license in Texas.
- Minimum of 1 years of nursing experience, preferably in home health or a related field.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to provide high-quality patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patients' homes within the service area.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer skills.
