Warehouse Supervisor

About the Job:

Ready Alliance Group is a quickly growing company in the emergency preparedness space.To support the growth of our brands we are in urgent need of an Warehouse Supervisor to support our company's operations department. We’re looking for someone with experience in working in a fulfillment/distribution environment. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the daily operations within the warehouse from Thursdays to Sundays (full-time).

You must be vigilant and perceptive, a self-starter and problem solver, who can motivate and "rally the troops".

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of 20-30 people
• Ensures a clean, safe, and fair work environment is provided for all employees.
• Shares performance feedback often in a timely and constructive manner.
• Transport product using carts, powered-lifts, or hydraulic pallet-jacks to bay locations.
• Assessing the work performance of their employees and identifying areas that need improvement
• Training and onboarding new hires to make sure they understand their roles
• Managing the workflow of their employees, creating team schedules and delegating tasks
• Review, enter, and manage inventory data in software applications.
• Operate scanning equipment to locate, bin, and cycle products.
• Be familiar with workload priorities to ensure timelines are met.
• Receive and inspect incoming products.
• Create reports for management.
• Perform other related duties as required.
• Contributes to creating and recommending strategic plans and reviews in order to achieve operational objectives such as staffing needs, inventory levels, consumables, etc.
• Establishes, follows and enforces safety standards and procedures in compliance with a healthy work environment and legal requirements.
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse (interior) inspecting equipment and issuing work orders for repair or requisitions for replacement.

Skills and Qualifications:

• An extreme level of patience and grace towards your job, frequent changes/pivots, senior management, and other employees/teams.
• Extreme attention to details, pride in your work, and the determination not to make the same mistakes twice. Ability to never accept the status quo and always aim to learn, improve, and grow through your projects, tasks, and responsibilities.
• Professional experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
• Experience using Dropbox and Microsoft Teams.
• Experience using FishBowl inventory management system or similar ERP systems preferred.
• Knowledgeable about GMP’s and manufacturing SOP’s
• Warehouse supervisor experience
• Managing a team of 20-40 people
• Knowledge of warehouse and forklift safety
• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as electric pallet jack, reach truck, forklift and/or man lift
• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds repetitively if needed.
• Experience with shipping and receiving products.
• Bilingual is a plus
