React Health Holdings, LLC is Hiring an Electrical Engineering Manager (Bothell, WA) Near Bothell, WA

React Health is a fast paced, growth oriented, manufacturer and distributor of medical equipment serving the respiratory, sleep and cardiology patients, caregivers, physicians, and providers. React Health sells and supports its product and services in the acute-care, non-acute and home medical equipment markets. React Health has built a model that combines manufacturing and distribution of products and services to meet the challenges of the undiagnosed as well as those needing therapies after diagnosis in the sleep and respiratory population.
GENERAL SUMMARY
As Electrical Engineering Manager you will manage multiple projects simultaneously, lead and develop electronics for respiratory medical devices. You will be responsible for developing innovative medical device solutions that meet industry standards and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 7 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • Proven successes in bringing complex electronic designs from concept to release.
  • Prior experience developing FDA approved medical devices.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards, such as FDA, IEC, and ISO
  • Takes initiative, effectively prioritizes work and manages others.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure.
  • Computer proficient; confident using data analysis programs and Microsoft Suite
Preferred Education
  • Master’s degree
Preferred Experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and project management skills.
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills required. Must be able to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
Physical Demands
  • Requires normal visual acuity and hearing.
  • Typically, employees sit comfortably to do their work, interspersed by brief periods of standing, walking, bending, carrying papers and books, and extensive periods requiring the use of computer terminals to accomplish work objectives. 
  • Required to sit and use their hands and fingers to handle or feel and manipulate keys on a keyboard. 
  • Additional skills may be required to perform additional task(s) specific to work location, department or line of business.
Working Conditions
  • Will work in an Engineering Lab based environment.
  • Predominantly operates in an office environment. Some work (less than 5%) requires moving and lifting of heavy networking equipment
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Each Employee consistently demonstrates the following essential functions:
  • Technically lead the development of medical device electronics.
  • Analyze electrical requirements against design, time, and cost constraints.
  • Develop functional specifications, architecture, detailed designs, schematics, and PCBs.
  • Create conceptual designs and engineering prototypes.
  • Design products for serviceability, manufacturability, and reliability
  • Create and execute test plans based on design requirements and technical specifications.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, with timely completion of tasks.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems with products.
  • Support service department as required to resolve complex customer issues.
  • responsible for hiring, training, and succession planning of the systems engineering team.
  • Develop innovative medical device solutions that meet industry standards and regulations such as FDA, IEC, and ISO
  • Develop verification and test plans and protocols and manage prototype testing and design verification testing (including electrical safety and IEC 60601 compliance testing)
  • Collaborate with software engineering team to specify, implement, and verify software and firmware.
  • Assist management and business development team with definition of scope, budget and timeline to support preparation of proposals and change orders for customers.
  • Expertise in circuits, digital and analog design, EMC, and microprocessors to ensure our products meet industry standards.
  • Expertise in the latest software tools such as Altium, ORCAD, Cadence, Allegro, and Spice to create schematics and prototypes.
  • Perform DFM, PFMEA, and/or related analysis when applicable.
  • Experience using multimeters, oscilloscopes, digital spectrum analyzers, and other test equipment for testing and debuging of hardware.
  • Experience reading, understanding, and creating block diagrams, electrical schematics, and board layouts
  • Attends and participates in departmental meetings. Attends seminars and training sessions necessary to maintain appropriate level of professional competence. Ensures all department compliance guidelines are met.
  • Attends all meetings, in-services training, or continuing education as delegated by the supervisor
  • Provides customer focused interactions
  • Performs all duties necessary for the department as per department policies and procedures
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as delegated by the supervisor within the scope of practice and the responsibilities in the department
