Position Summary: As the Maintenance Director, you are a vital member of our team, responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations to ensure the highest standards of quality care in compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations. Reporting directly to the Administrator, you will play a key role in maintaining our facility and grounds to create a welcoming and safe environment.

Responsibilities:

Building Maintenance:

  • Supervise and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the facility's structural integrity.
  • Coordinate and oversee repairs, renovations, and upgrades as needed.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of equipment and systems.

Interior Maintenance:

  • Manage and address issues related to the interior spaces, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and well-maintained environment.

Grounds Maintenance:

  • Oversee the upkeep of outdoor spaces, including landscaping, parking areas, and walkways.
  • Coordinate landscaping services and ensure a visually appealing and safe exterior environment.
  • Implement environmentally friendly practices in grounds maintenance.

Exceptional Appearance and Working Condition:

  • Strive for excellence in maintaining a clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing environment.
  • Respond promptly to any maintenance emergencies to uphold the safety and well-being of residents and staff.
  • Ensure that all equipment and facilities are in proper working condition.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in maintenance and facilities management, with a preference for candidates with healthcare industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Federal, State, and Local regulations related to facility maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle emergency situations effectively.
