Job DescriptionRESPEC, a nationally recognized engineering consulting company, is seeking an individual to provide engineering services at our office in Sarasota, Florida. The candidate will be involved with all types of planning, design, and specialty services relating to community improvements, land development, infrastructure resiliency, and stormwater engineering fields.Qualifications: At a minimum, the successful candidate must have the following qualifications:A bachelor of science degree in engineering from an ABET accredited programStrong passion for a civil engineering careerApproximately 3 to 7 years of experience in land development and/or stormwater engineering fieldExperience in developing and guiding construction plan package preparationLand entitlement and/or regulatory permitting experience in the state of FloridaPractical application of Interconnected Pond and Routing (ICPR) softwareExperience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS.Additional preferred qualifications include the following:Experience in providing engineering services in Manatee and Sarasota CountiesFamiliarity with development and design processes that are specific to Manatee and Sarasota CountiesRegulatory review experience for environmental resource and civil site permitsPractical application of various hydrology/hydraulics software including HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD, EPASWMM, MODRET, and BMPTRAINS.We enjoy flexible work hours and have an open office environment to share ideas.Salary Range: Compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.Featured benefits include:Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance PlansPaid Maternity and Paternity Leave401(k) with 100% Company match up to 6%Employee Stock Ownership PlanProfessional Development and TrainingTuition ReimbursementPaid Time OffInterviews: Interviews will be by appointment only.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
