RE-EDUCATION SERVICES is Hiring an Intervention Specialist Near Mentor, OH

Licensed intervention specialist salary and benefits package, including professional development opportunities, competitive with surrounding counties in Northeast Ohio. Re-Education Services is a private school based program providing special education services to students, kg through age twenty-two, with autism and emotional, social, behavioral disorders from districts in Northeastern Ohio. Re-Education Services offers a multidisciplinary approach using research based techniques, interventions, and models to support student learning in a team centered atmosphere. Multidisciplinary team consists of licensed intervention specialists, associate teachers, support staff, speech language pathologists, occupational therapists, and counselors.

Licensed intervention specialist must possess a combination of education, training and/or experience in working with students with emotional and behavioral challenges. Applicant must possess a current Ohio Department of Education Intervention Specialist License (mild to moderate or moderate to intensive). Licensed intervention specialist will develop and implement academic lessons based on Ohio state content standards, students' IEP, and students' ability level. --develop, write, and implement IEP for students' assigned to class. --document and collect data for academics and IEP goals/objectives --model and teach age appropriate coping skills, self-regulation skills, self-management skills etc. --manage students' academics, behaviors, and emotions. --develop individualized behavior plans as needed. --collaborate with associate teacher, support staff, and related services staff to provide best services for students.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: Up to $60,000.00 per year
