We are looking for a competent, friendly, outgoing dental assistant who will make the office more efficient and pleasant for patients. If you are looking for a place where you can make a positive difference for your patients and are a valued team member, then this is the position for you.
You’ll ensure excellent customer service and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the dentist’s shoulders.
Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.
You should be certified in dental assisting and radiology.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients in the dental office
• Prepare patients for treatments ensuring their comfort
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Assist the dentist during surgery as well as minor procedures
• Undertake lab tasks as instructed
• Keep the treatment room clean and well-stocked
• Maintain accurate patient records (Open Dental/Photo's/Radiographs)

Skills

• Proven experience as dental assistant
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations/OSHA
• Good computer skills
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Attention to detail
• Well-organized and dependable

*Experience with Implants/AO4/Implant Supported Dentures preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 – 36 per week
