Registered Dietitian-Skilled Nursing

Overview:

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is excited to offer an opportunity for a Clinical Registered Dietitian to join our team. This role allows the Dietitian to work remotely via telehealth

Schedule: 16-20hrs/ week, 100% remote via telehealth.

Short Term Assignment: 4-8 weeks.

Flexibility: Choose your days and hours.

Compensation: $38.00-$42.00 per hour, based on experience.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree, majoring in food and nutrition
• Current state licensure/certification (if mandated by the state)
• Registered with the Commission on Dietetics Registration
• Familiarity with state survey processes and adhering to nutrition care regulations
• Competency in electronic charting systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents and patients
• Offer specialized support for tube feedings
• Deliver nutritional counseling and educational sessions for residents and their families
• Ensure compliance with DOH/state/federal regulations and uphold company standards
• Work autonomously without the need for regular training or direction

Desired Skills:

• Clinical Expertise: Ability to apply MNT to develop personalized nutrition plans for patients with various conditions.
• Assessment & Planning: Nutritional assessments, individualized care plans, collaboration with healthcare team.
• Communication & Relationships: Patient education, diverse populations, building rapport with residents and staff.
• Additional Skills: Food service, regulations, EHR proficiency, quality improvement (consider adding research, wound care, or dysphagia management as desired).
