As our client’s Asphalt Plant Operator, you will be responsible for the management of the asphalt plant and asphalt production. Working with heavy equipment and loading huge motors, you will also be responsible for preparing end-of-day plant reports. You will be maintaining the yard and plant that will exceed environmental requirements. You will also maintain plant settings and recording plant statistics as directed by the Plant Foreman. Documenting plant records in the plant diary relating to repairs and maintenance will be necessary. Additionally, you will coordinate with outside sales customers, as necessary.

To Qualify:

· High School diploma

· 1-2 years’ operating experience

· Heavy equipment and loading experience

· 1-2 years’ asphalt experience

· Familiarity with computers

· Mechanical and electrical background

· Accurate and well organized

· Self-motivated with good communication skills

· Ability to work well with subordinates, peers and supervisors

· Ability to work days, nights and weekends as needed
