MEDICAL BILLING & COLLECTIONS SPECIALIST

• Insurance Verification
• Charge Entry
• Payment Entry
• Prepares claims to present to third party biller.
• Performs various collection actions including correcting and resubmitting claims to third party payers, filing appeals, A/R reports, contacting insurance companies and patients when needed to collect payment.
• Answers questions from patients and Insurance companies.
• Processes payments from insurance companies and patients.
• Maintains strict confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
• Must have experience with EMR (E-Clinical Works, EPIC experience is a plus)
• Must have minimum of 3 years experience in health insurance billing, medical coding, accounts receivables and collections.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience
