Beautician
Pay: $18.00 per hour.
Option to discuss a contracted rate.
Part time: 15 hours per week.
JOB SUMMARY:
Provides hair care services in accordance with wishes of the patient/resident or family and ensures the safety of the patients/residents in the beauty shop.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to provide salon services to residents in an adult and geriatric setting.
Attends any mandatory in-services by the employee’s anniversary date.
Acts appropriately under the direction of the Administrator.
Demonstrates ability to adjust to changes in unit/shift assignments to meet resident and facility needs.
Demonstrates knowledge of and complies with the Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program when performing work functions.
Administrative Duties:
Performs all scheduled salon services.
Assists in the maintenance of all resident files that receive salon services.
Assists in answering phone in absence of receptionist.
Assists in the resident/non-resident billing and tracking.
Demonstrates responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness of the salon department.
