• 4 years relevant experience in rf analysis, electronic equipment testing, wireless systems, or similar
• Experienced with RF analysis or testing and using spectrum analyzers
• Experienced in testing electronic equipment
• Experienced with software testing with an understanding of test scripts and their function

• Experience in Smart Meters, Utilities, or Oil and Gas

• Responsible for conducting RF Analysis to detect, understand, and resolve Advanced Meter Interference
• Advanced Meters communicate with Data Collector Units (DCUs) to calculate natural gas consumption and associated customer billing

• Responsible for RF Analysis, RF Field Testing, electronic components testing, software/firmware testing, validation, and certification
• Monitor air bands using tools that are part of the Advanced Meter system and test performance
• Conduct field surveys as needed with support
• When needed, utilize spectrum analyzers to analyze interfering signals, signal strength and location, and collaborate on solutions
• Ensure Data Collector Units are functioning properly and providing accurate data
• Utilize existing test scripts to test system performance of the DCUs
• Collaborate with Aclara to develop test scripts and test plans for new firmware or bug fixes
