Pennant Solutions Group has several System Administrator (Windows & Linux) openings in the Ft. Meade, MD area requiring a TS/SCI FSP.
Must Have:
TS/SCI FSP Windows or Linux experience of similar scope required.
Security CE or equivalent
Job Responsibilities:
Support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
Maintenance, monitoring of Windows and/or Linux servers
Manage daily configuration and operation activities of IT systems.
Assist users in accessing and utilizing IT systems effectively.
Support IT systems in day-to-day operations, including monitoring and resolving issues across various devices.
Optimize system operations, resource utilization, and conduct system capacity analysis and planning.
Offer extensive troubleshooting expertise for IT systems.
Provide comprehensive analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers regarding escalated tickets.
Assist in resolving dispatch system and hardware issues and actively participate in the resolution process.
Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems, including software installation, troubleshooting, and maintaining network integrity.
Support system design, mission architecture, and associated hardware.
Analyze and resolve complex problems related to server hardware, applications, and software integration.
Overseeing hundreds of VM/Instances running Linux, utilizing Ansible plays written in YAML for efficient management.
Proficient in working within the framework of RFM, adept at clear and concise documentation.
Extensive experience in setting up and managing machines running Docker, Kubernetes, and related dependencies.
Prioritizing meticulous attention to detail, demonstrating dedication, and finding fulfillment in refining skills.
Additional expertise includes Ansible, OpenStack, Terraform, C2S/AWS, STE/STN, emphasizing a DevOps System Administrator role over hardware-centric responsibilities.
