Parts Advisor Essential Job Functions :

• Maintain accounts / schedules for all parts charge and cash accounts.
• Reconcile Mercedes-Benz Packing List to Mercedes-Benz Invoices.
• Notify appropriate parties when special order parts arrive.
• Process Check request for customer refunds.
• Process payment for Wholesale / Retail parts deliveries.
• Assist in bi-monthly parts returns.
• Assist in the scrapping and returning of warranty parts.
• Assist in pulling and shipping of all orders.
• Proactively communicate potential issues with customers, management and other departments in order to provide the best possible customer experience.
• Abide by company policy and departmental best practices and procedure and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications :

Prior to being employed, applicants for employment must participate in RBM’s normal screening process which includes : completing a full employment application;

satisfactory criminal, credit and driving records checks (where applicable); in-person interviews and other inquiries.

• All applicants must have a current and valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and must be insurable.
• High school diploma or the equivalent and be authorized to work in the USA for any employer.
• Previous experience working in a similar role required.
• Basic communication and problem solving skills; basic mathematical skills using American units of measure.
• Physical activities include : constantly position body and move in order to handle inventory and complete job duties; drive golf cart or parts delivery vehicles;
• detect and identify safety concerns; exert force to move / manipulate objects (up to 100lbs occasionally, 65lbs frequently, 25lbs constantly);

operate office equipment and repetitive motion. Work is conducted inside, outside, on various terrain, on public and private roadways, and in a shop environment in proximity to moving vehicles, mechanical equipment, with occasional exposure to chemicals, and moderate to loud noise levels.
