Your responsibilities | · Create, improve, and implement manufacturing processes using state-of-the-art technologies such as machine automation, 3D printing, robotics, gear hobbing, induction heat treating, CNC programming, tool design, and more · Develops and drives implementation of best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and output quality. Scope includes but is not limited to scrap reduction, cycle time reduction, downtime reduction, FPY increase, OEE increase, and warranty PPM reduction · Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other best practice tools and principles for day-to-day problem-solving and continuous improvement · Providing production line support including, but not limited to, implementing process improvements, troubleshooting equipment, and addressing potential safety concerns · Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement, and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency |
Your background | · Currently enrolled in a mechanical engineering bachelor's degree program from an accredited university in the United States · Must be currently authorized to work for Dodge Industrial in the US · Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on critical thinking, root cause analysis, and problem-solving · Strong analytical skills with a focus on critical thinking, root cause analysis, and problem-solving · Attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Collaborates well with others and is a good team player |
