Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as turning machines (multi-spindle automatic screw machines, CNC vertical and horizontal lathes), grinding machines, heat treat furnaces and related equipment, assembly machines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Read and follow schematics and assembles.
  • Change machine parts such as pullys, motors, gear boxes, ect.
  • Work on electric voltage from 12-480 Volts
  • PLC troubleshooting
  • Ability to follow electrical circuits.
  • Binary #s
  • HVAC knowledge

Work Activities:

  • Performing General Physical Activities with ability to lift to 50 lbs.
  • Work Environment will be dealing with heat, dust, chemicals fumes, and open flames.
  • Receiving, Processing, and Evaluating Information to determine compliance with standards.
  • Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings.
  • Maintain production or work records.
  • Use precision measuring tools or equipment.
  • Recognize characteristics of metals.
  • Perform safety inspections in manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • Examine products or work to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Recognize characteristics of alloys.
  • Operate hoist, winch, or hydraulic boom.

High School/G.E.D
