Job Title: Exercise Physiologist Cardiac Rehab

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Exercise Physiologist to join our Cardiac Rehab team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing exercise programs for patients recovering from cardiac conditions. You will work closely with patients to assess their physical fitness levels, monitor their progress, and provide guidance on how to improve their cardiovascular health through exercise.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct fitness assessments and develop personalized exercise programs for patients with cardiac conditions
• Monitor patients during exercise sessions to ensure safety and effectiveness
• Educate patients on the importance of regular exercise in improving cardiovascular health
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients
• Keep detailed records of patient progress and adjust exercise programs as needed
• Stay current on the latest research and best practices in cardiac rehabilitation

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Exercise Physiology or a related field
• Certification as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RCEP) preferred
• Experience working in cardiac rehabilitation or a similar clinical setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population
• CPR certification required
