Job Summary:
In this role, you will be joining a team where our software engineers and architects are developing and maintaining advanced ground station software. Our complex domain requires creative solutions to meet evolving customer needs.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Develop software for satellite ground systems.
• Experience with the full software lifecycle including design, development, test, delivery, and maintenance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of software engineering experience
• Experience with object-oriented software development using C and Java.
• Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. The ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance is also required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile development methods.
• Experience with some area of satellite ground system software such as mission management, planning and scheduling, command and telemetry, satellite operations, or flight dynamics.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
