Raymond Search Group is Hiring a Mechanical technician Near Missouri, MO

GENERAL DESCRIPTION :

Our client is a manufacturer’s representative company that has served the St. Louis and surrounding territory since 1992 along with others that produce equipment for the commercial and industrial HVAC markets.

Their primary applications are supporting Communications, Data Centers, Labs, Medical Facilities, Schools, and Campus Environments.

They have an opening for full time employment of a service technician. This individual will require a strong understanding of electronics, electricity and data center control practices as well as the refrigeration cycle and basic refrigeration installation practices.

This individual will be part of our team to provide 24 / 7 customer support.

The primary duties will require equipment start up, technical customer support, preventative maintenance programs and owner training on the equipment.

Extensive training will be provided by the company.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES :

Required Experience (one or more of the following) :

  • HVAC : Completion of a 2-year degree program
  • Six years of military experience in a related field
  • Equivalent industry experience accompanied by an EPA refrigerant license
  • Professional Interpersonal Skills

Additional Qualifications :

  • Reliability and a strong sense of teamwork
  • Familiarity with electrical and electronic test equipment and fundamentals
  • Technical Skills :
  • Ability to conduct basic site evaluations including assessment of environmental temperature and general operating conditions
  • Proficiency in elementary fix and repair techniques under directed supervision
  • Capability to complete tasks and restore units to full operating conditions under directed supervision
  • Aptitude for summarizing and reporting all work-related tasks performed
  • Proficiency in :

  • Organizational and planning abilities
  • Basic computer skills
  • Mechanical aptitude

The company will furnish all the necessary tools, technical training, cell phone, computers / tablets, and a service vehicle.
