The successful candidate must possess the following attributes:

Ability to safely use chemicals and cleaners, the ability to work with specialized mechanical along with basic hand tools, knowledge of engines, transmissions, fuel and ignition systems.

Responsibilities:

• Performs maintenance and repair work on vans, cars, trucks, trailers and material handling equipment
• Capability and knowledge to diagnose malfunctions, and perform all of the necessary repairs
• In charge of executing operational tests prior to repairs
• Documents all of the repairs that performed
• Tracking of all parts ordered and billing procedures
• Conducts a final quality check on all vehicles and equipment that has been repaired
• Ensures that all registrations and DOT paperwork is current
• Verifies that all DOT inspections are performed when due
• Assists with staging of the equipment
• Must maintain an efficient and clean work area

Requirements:

• HD truck technical training or 2 years of related experience.
• Current and valid commercial driver's license (preferred but not required).
