About the Role
Raycon is looking for a Shopify Developer. This person will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Shopify -based e-commerce platform. You will work closely with our team to implement new features, customize for our customers. This is an amazing opportunity for someone looking to grow with a quickly growing and successful startup brand.
What You'll Do
- Customize and develop Shopify themes, templates, and components to meet business requirements
- Implement new features and functionality using Shopify APIs, Liquid and Extensibility programming languages, and other web technologies
- Optimize site performance, speed and scalability to improve user experience and conversion rates
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and errors on the Shopify platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, marketers and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions
- Stay up-to-date with Shopify platform updates, best practices and industry trends
Who You Are
- 5 years of proven experience as a Shopify Developer with strong portfolio of Shopify projects
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, as well as Liquid and Extensibility programming languages
- Experience with Shopify theme customization, app development, and API integration
- Solid understanding of e-commerce principles, user experience design, and responsive web design
- Solid understanding of e-commerce principles, user experience design, and responsive web design
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with integration and ERP platforms such as Celigo and NetSuite
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks/libraries such as React, Vue.js, or Angular
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and development workflows
- Experience with performance optimization techniques, SEO best practices, and web analytics tools
Raycon is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Salary ranges are determined through alignment with market data. Base salary offered is determined by a number of factors including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and skills. This role may also be eligible for bonus compensation and employee benefits.
NYC Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 USD
