Position SummaryAs an Oral Surgeon, you will be responsible for performing surgical procedures on the hard and soft tissues of the oral and maxillofacial regions to address diseases, injuries, or defects. You may also diagnose issues within these areas and conduct surgeries to improve function and appearance.
Job Duties

• Educating patients on oral healthcare
• Diagnosing oral diseases and issues using tools like x-rays
• Promoting oral health and disease prevention
• Creating treatment plans for oral health maintenance or restoration
• Interpreting x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Safely administering anesthetics
• Monitoring teeth and jaw development
• Performing surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues in the oral cavity
• Executing trauma and jaw surgeries, dealing with pathology, and performing implant dentistry
• Maintaining detailed dental records
• Staying updated on new developments through continuing professional development
• Marketing services to potential clients

Minimum Requirements

• DDS/DMD from an accredited university
• State practice license
• CPR Certification
• Three (3) years of professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional professional experience
• Additional related certifications
