Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Location: Bremerton, WA 

Job Type: Onsite/Full Time/Direct Hire

Requirements: NAVFAC project experience, on-site presence, project list provided, experience in projects ranging from $1M to $5M

Job Description:

As a Construction Project Manager based in Bremerton, WA, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects within the specified range, with a focus on NAVFAC projects. Your role will involve on-site presence, coordination with subcontractors, project scheduling, budget management, and ensuring compliance with project requirements and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead and manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • NAVFAC Experience: Utilize previous experience with NAVFAC projects to navigate project complexities and requirements effectively.
  • On-Site Presence: Maintain a physical presence at the project site to oversee construction activities, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Subcontractor Coordination: Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services, and resolve any issues that may arise during construction.
  • Budget and Schedule Management: Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, tracking expenses, milestones, and deliverables to ensure project completion within established parameters.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements, conducting regular inspections and audits as necessary.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, issues, and resolutions.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing challenges and implementing contingency plans to minimize disruptions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and other project-related correspondence.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Requirements: 

  • Previous experience in NAVFAC projects and construction project management.
  • Experience managing construction projects ranging from $1M to $5M.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations.
