Job Purpose:

Supports Rawhide’s development strategies and efforts by researching, leading, and executing a marketing & development plan for the lake shore region with a strong mission focused and revenue-oriented approach. Connecting and managing relationships with the target partners, organizations, corporations, and individuals to meet development growth targets. Effectively collaborating with development and marketing leaders and team to maximize success.

Essential Job Functions:

• Lead and executes the marketing & development plan to create a path for our services in the lake shore region.
• Engages and inspires the community to create a foundation for our footprint into this region. Leads the development of relationships and engagement of target partners, organizations, corporations, and individuals.
• Create a portfolio driven by priority relationships, pipeline development, account management, and fundraising activities with accountability for a significant income target as well as mission and advocacy integration.
• Researches, engages, stewards and manages relationships with new partners and donor prospects to successfully execute fundraising plans and achieve revenue goals.
• Implements best practices for revenue growth as well as drives and encourages creativity and innovation resulting in new revenue opportunities.
• Works very closely with the director of development and the director of marketing & strategy. Actively collaborates with all development team members, marketing team and community outreach team to maximize success.
• Monitors financial expenditures and progress to budget and takes appropriate measures to meet top and bottom-line goals ensuring a high return on investment.
• Models and fosters behavior that is consistent with the beliefs and values of Rawhide youth services.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required. CFRE is highly desirable.
• Minimum 3 years of sales/fundraising experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
• Experience in executing development strategies and plans. A strategic thinker.
• Ability to relate well and work effectively with multiple constituencies and audiences.
• Excellent client-facing and interpersonal, verbal and written skills.
• Knowledge of office systems: MS office preferred and fundraising database systems (e.g. Raiser’s edge, salesforce.com).
• Ability to work on a team within a collaborative environment and ensure the highest customer service orientation.
• A current valid driver's license and good driving record is required.
