Ravenwood Health is looking for a full time youth care worker at our adolescent residential facility, the Geauga Youth Center (GYC). The GYC is a co-ed residential facility for adolescents ages 13-18 who are experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges. Youth Care Workers are critically important members of our residential team. They provide support, monitoring and guidance to youth in all activities. This opportunity is ideal for those looking to gain experience in the behavioral health field.
Youth Care Worker Responsibilities:
  • Providing direct assistance and supervision of the residents is a variety of activities including physical wellness, personal care, academic tasks and independent living skills
  • Collaborating with other members of the treatment team to optimize each client’s treatment experience
  • Supporting treatment goals through assisting resident with crisis de-escalation and emotion regulation
  • Engage in daily administrative tasks including completing client specific documentation
  • This facility does NOT use any seclusion/restraint interventions
Youth Care Worker Job Requirements:
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must pass a background check
Working Conditions:
  • In person residential facility
  • Second Shift
  • Wednesday through Sunday
