Ravago is Hiring a Packaging Associate - Distribution Near Baytown, TX
PURPOSE OF ROLE:Primarily responsible for assisting Packaging Operator on all packaging line activities, and any other duties assigned by Packaging Lead.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Work in a safe manner and follow all company rules and policies concerning safety and PPE.
- Ensure that you have a productive, safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
- Assist in performance of required clean down duties in between packaging assignments.
- Report any visual damages or deficiencies to Packaging Operator and/or Packaging Lead
- Use a forklift to move product from packaging line and/or into a bay location
- Accurately fill out any required paperwork for a production run
- Execute assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner
- Identify damages and quality deficiencies
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Packaging Lead
- Minimum 1 year experience in a warehouse environment.
- Good math, language, and reading skills
- Knowledge of proper PPE requirements
- Considerate and respectful to coworkers

- Able to follow instructions given for daily tasks
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- A variety of standing, sitting and walking throughout the day
- Regularly sitting on a powered industrial truck
- Frequently lift up to 55 lbs. and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot and stand for long periods of time.
- Occasional climbing of ladders
- Use of basic warehouse equipment
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season
