Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of construction projects and providing detailed proposals to clients. Your expertise in cost control and negotiation will be essential in ensuring successful project outcomes.

Duties:
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Monitor project budgets and provide ongoing cost analysis to identify potential cost-saving opportunities
- Review contracts and negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers

Qualifications:
- Proven 2 years experience in construction estimating, preferably in excavating, septics, water/sewer main services, drainage, site development, demolition, & concrete.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
- Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail

- Fluidity in print reading
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with potential clients & coworkers
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

- Have a great understanding of our service area & logistics of an excavation company

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 per week

Compensation package:

  • Bonus opportunities

  • Day shift

Ability to Relocate:

  • Fall River, MA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
