Our team is looking for an Assembler IV to perform a variety of precision electromechanical assembly operations on subassemblies utilized in six different instrument types. Assembles, disassembles, repairs, connects and solders wires and connectors according to assembly instructions and engineering specifications and sketches when required.
Responsibilities- Perform general assembly on subassemblies utilizing appropriate assembly procedures
- Test subassemblies in electronic test fixtures
- Soldering wires, PCBs, and subassemblies
- Learn and perform basic troubleshooting protocols and rework for non-conforming units
- Ability to be flexible and handle priority changes as they occur
- Meet expected daily production requirements

- Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
- 5 years' experience assembling electromechanical devices and subassemblies
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in the use of hand tools including soldering equipment, screwdrivers, wrenches, and heat guns
- IPC-A-610 and JSTD-001 certified
- Thorough understanding of workmanship standards and quality control procedures including compliance for ESD
- Experience operating in a lean manufacturing environment
- Ability to work in a clean, contaminant free environment utilizing gloves during assembly operations
- Comfortable with use of Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience diagnosing electromechanical failures
- Technical electronics training or certification
