Overview:

We are seeking a talented ServiceNow Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud security, carbonise, Azure, PostgreSQL, virtualization, Python, vulnerability management, scripting, debugging, and load balancing.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop solutions within the ServiceNow platform
• Implement integrations between ServiceNow and other systems
• Customize ServiceNow applications based on business requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new features
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow applications
• Implement solutions, by configuring and customizing scripting, for all components of the ServiceNow VR & VRM products.
• Lead the conceptualization, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of new and existing features for the existing portfolio of applications for a business area.
• Design, code, configure, unit test, maintain, and document software deliverables using agreed upon standards and tools.
• Ensure that solutions delivered by self or team members are secure and scalable, comply with defined standards and best practices.
• Code ServiceNow solutions within an Agile Framework

Required Qualifications

• 4 years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 2 years of ServiceNow experience in building, implementing, and maintaining platform technologies, workflows and integrations

Desired Qualifications

• 2 years of RESTful or SOAP web services
• ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) or Vendor Risk Management (VRM) module experience
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• One or more of the following ServiceNow certifications: (CSA) Certified Systems Administrator, (CIS) Certified Implementation Specialist, or (CAD) Certified Application Developer
• Agile experience

Skills:

- Proficiency in cloud security practices
- Experience with carbonise and Azure platforms
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL database management
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies
- Proficient in Python programming language
- Understanding of vulnerability management principles
- Ability to write scripts for automation and customization
- Skilled in debugging and troubleshooting issues
- Knowledge of load balancing concepts
