Rapid Removal, Inc. is a full-service demolition and construction services company that has been doing complete and selective demolition for over 15 years. We are seeking an experienced excavator operator to join our team. This individual must be enthusiastic, proactive, self-motivated, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills. This position will require prior experience in the demolition industry. This position will require a high level of attention to detail. A minimum of 5 years' experience operating excavators for demolition projects is required.

The main responsibilities for this position will be to safely demolish residential and commercial structures using heavy equipment.

Heavy Equipment Operator Responsibilities:

• ability to maneuver equipment in confined locations
• ability to safely demolish structures using excavators and multiple attachments
• ability to perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
• ability to effectively prepare and record project specific details/documents (time sheets, hauling records, etc.)
• ability to troubleshoot problems effectively
• ability to work well in a team environment
• ability to read and interpret blueprints and scope of work documents for each job
• ability to lift heavy objects
• ability to operate cut-off saw
• ability to use torch
• ability to keep all Rapid Removal equipment in optimal working condition (clean, properly running)

• Demolition wrecking with excavator: 5-10 years
• Proven ability to demolish structures with heavy equipment: minimum of 5 years
