Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Freight Broker to join our team. As a Freight Broker, you will be responsible for managing the transportation of goods and building strong relationships with carriers and customers. Your expertise in logistics and sales will be crucial in negotiating prices and ensuring efficient transportation services.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with carriers, shippers, and customers
- Negotiate rates with carriers to secure cost-effective transportation solutions
- Coordinate the movement of freight, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction
- Utilize various transportation modes such as NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) and 3PL (Third Party Logistics)
- Manage customer accounts, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any issues or concerns
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential customers
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, rates, and customer interactions
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize logistics operations and improve overall efficiency

Requirements:
- Proven experience in logistics sales or transportation sales
- Strong knowledge of the freight industry, including NVOCC, 3PL, and transportation modes
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Proficient in data entry and record keeping
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
