IT Adjunct Responsibilities:

• Prepares for and teaches Information Technology courses and conducts labs as assigned by the division chair of the Information Technology department.
• Develop curriculum and perform duties as an instructor, teaching in a lecture/classroom environment.
• Actively teach and evaluate students for technical and work ethic grades, reporting grades and attendance in a timely manner.
• Maintain safe work practices, tools, and equipment, keeping environment clean and organized. Assist in developing and maintaining the curriculum and syllabi used in the department.
• Potential candidate must be a good role model with positive work ethic traits and can motivate students. Enforces Ranken?s safety standards.
• Assists in maintaining requirements of industry standards.
• Demonstrate positive work ethic traits, be a role model and motivate students.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate degree with 5 years industry experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows Server
• Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor?s degree in Information Technology with 3 years of industry experience
• IT Certifications including CompTIA, Microsoft, Amazon and/or Cisco brands
• Experience in IT help desk or customer service
• Trained in Microsoft Windows 10 or 11
• Competent with AWS and/or Azure
• Proficient with Cisco Routers and Switches
• Experience teaching in an academic setting
• Strong industry connections
