Ranger Services, Inc is looking for a self-disciplined, personable, professional Arborist to join our team.
Arborist responsibilities include:
· Tree and shrub pruning, plantings, and removals
· Tree climbing and ground work
· Insect and disease diagnosis
· Surveying landscapes and making recommendations based on best practices for plant needs
· Sales and customer service / account management
General requirements:
· A solid foundation of plant/tree knowledge (identification, diagnostic evaluation, and planting/care/maintenance techniques)
· A 2-year or 4-year degree in Urban Forestry or Arboriculture and at least 2 years of experience
· Ability to establish good communication and resolve customer concerns
· Ability to work confidently as part of a team or independently
· Good time-management skills
· Ability to be flexible with changes in job scheduling
· Ability to work in varying weather conditions
· Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
· Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
· Wisconsin state pesticide applicator 3.0 certification (preferred)
