Rangeline Utility Services, an underground utility contractor, is now hiring!

We are currently looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator who is local or in close commute to the Denton area to join a hard-working, experienced crew.

Role and Responsibilities

• Transport and operate various light, medium, and heavy-duty equipment used in the maintenance and repair of construction projects.
• Maintain the safe working condition of all equipment used; perform minor repairs on equipment and report the need for major repairs; perform mandatory pre-trip vehicle inspections.
• Operate an excavator for excavating utility trenches, placing pipes, and backfilling.
• Operate skid steer loading materials into dump trucks and waste containers; transport to the appropriate location.
• Read and understand survey markings and blueprint drawings; survey job sites for underground utilities that may interfere with excavation.
• Perform heavy and semi-skilled construction maintenance and labor work when not operating equipment regularly assigned.
• Travel and perform after-hours on-call and emergency work.
• Perform related duties as required by Operations.
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools pertaining to the work in a safe and efficient manner.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License
• CDL- A License (preferred)
• Ability to pull small utility trailers
• Ability to operate a backhoe, excavator, track hoe, front-end loaders, and compaction equipment.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
