Job Responsibilities:

• Works without risk or harm to self or others
• Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures
• Safely operate both on and off-road vehicles
• Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
• Recognize, control, and communicate safety or environmental hazards

General duties when working on this project:

• Duties involving Drillers: lining up rigs, communicating management objectives to drill crews, and maintaining communication with drillers to keep management updated on things like mechanical issues, hole quality, and surveys.
• Quicklog, recovery measurements
• Communication: writing daily progress reports for project geologist and maintaining contact to understand current priorities

Requirements:

• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
• Working knowledge and skill using personal computers
• Experience reading maps, using a GPS, and driving off-road is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Geology
• Requires a valid driver's license
