Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Wound Care Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing specialized care and treatment to patients with wounds, ensuring their comfort and promoting healing. Duties:
- Assessing and evaluating patients with wounds, including pressure ulcers, surgical wounds, and diabetic ulcers
- Developing and implementing individualized wound care plans based on patient needs
- Administering wound care treatments, including dressing changes, debridement, and wound irrigation
- Monitoring and documenting wound healing progress
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educating patients and their families on proper wound care techniques and prevention strategies
- Providing emotional support to patients during the healing process
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a clean and safe work environment
