Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities:
- Perform physical examinations and assessments of patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient information accurately and timely
- Assist with sterile processing and maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Insert intravenous (IV) lines and monitor IV therapy
- Assist with procedures such as gastric lavage and CT scans
- Utilize medical imaging technology for diagnostic purposes

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical/surgical setting preferred
- Proficient in IV insertion, sterile processing, and physical examinations
- Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology
- Experience working in an ICU or critical care setting is a plus
