Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a strong ability to multitask. Duties: - Greet customers and assist them with their purchases - Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register or point-of-sale system - Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions - Maintain accurate cash drawer balances - Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products or services - Assist with stock replenishment and merchandising as needed - Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked - Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, returns, and exchanges - Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service Qualifications: - Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred but not required - Strong communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus - Basic math skills to accurately process transactions and handle cash - Ability to operate a cash register or point-of-sale system - Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers - Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions.
