Our client in Downtown Los Angeles has an immediate need for a Temporary Payroll Specialist. Duration of engagement is six to eight months, full time hours Monday thru Friday. Hybrid role. Pay $32-35/hour.

Responsibilities:
- Full cycle bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll processes for 500 employees
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions, including salaries, bonuses, taxes, and other deductions
- Oversee time and attendance to ensure proper recording and reporting of hours worked
- Process wages for employee terminations, including processing manual checks
- Assist with internal and external payroll audits
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
- 3 years of full cycle payroll processing experience in high volume department
- Understanding of payroll regulations and compliance
- Multi state payroll processing experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
