Objectives:

• Deliver on-site new hire orientations
• Facilitate first day check-ins
• Coach talent when necessary to attain production goals while maintaining safe operations and high quality.
• Achieve business goals through improved communication and engagement.
• Build teamwork through employee engagement to develop a sense of ownership and purpose.
• Reinforce customer training, procedures, and processes.

The performance coach is assigned to a specific work area; or, he or she has the responsibility of impacting an entire shift or department (depending on the operational complexity). The function and expectations of a non-unit-producing performance coach are:

• Acts as on-site support for supervisors to help improve performance through coaching and reinforcing desirable behaviors.
• Helps facilitate on-boarding process, including facility tours, awareness of job function, SWIs, & new-hire training documentations.
• Attends pre-shift meetings to update Randstad talent about any changes in the workplace environment or expectations.
• Informs talent on attendance expectations and provides status, helps manage absentee pool when applicable
• Monitors performance & reporting results; creates and executes talent improvement plans
• Observes and coaches talent as needed to reinforce safe work behaviors or correct undesirable behaviors.
• Observes, monitors, and reports to the supervisor any safety hazards which may cause injury.

This is a primarily 1st shift position, working flexible hours Monday through Friday.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
