Due to growing operations, a prominent Manufacturer in the Uniondale area is seeking a Buyer to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of Buyer experience in a manufacturing environment.

responsibilities :
Detail Oriented individual capable of multi-tasking and supporting the materials and purchasing department in all aspects of procurement and reporting.
- Placing orders
- Expediting
- Vendor RMA's
- Quoting
- Data entry and maintenance of quotes
- Vendor Maintenance
- Vendor Set Ups
- Supplier reports
- Assist in resolving accounting issues
- Electronic manufacturing background a must
- Associates Degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field
- 2 years of purchasing, supply chain, or related experience in electronics manufacturing environment
- Experience with ERP systems is a must
- Knowledge of MRP processes
- Excel and Word Required
- EOE / Disability / Veteran
- This position is on site
