Distribution TechnicianPay Rate : 19-21 per hourLocation : AdventHealth Shawnee Mission - 9100 W 74th St, Merriam, KS 66204Hours : M-F 12 pm to 830 pmDress code : scrubs are provided by the hospitalPotentially Temp to Perm

Day-to-day operations : warehouse environment, will come in to work and have a list of requisitions to pick; will pick supplies, load cart, and deliver to units within the hospital.

At the end of the shift, will help with picking and wrapping pallets for next-day outbound shipping.

They are allowed to have one earbud in to listen to music while in the warehouse but must remove that when leaving the warehouse to deliver supplies.

Will be using a boxcutter, should have good knife skills

Responsibilities

Responsible for timely and accurate selection of supply chain orders.

Responsible for accurate receiving of deliveries (i.e. UPS, FedEx, Common Carrier, etc.). Ensures packages have the correct documentation and correct delivery location.

Maintains documentation / delivery files. This includes not only the accuracy of the items being signed for it also includes the accuracy of the items being received in the MMIS system.

Delivers products to hospital departments (both on-site and offsite). Ensures delivery documentation is signed by the end-user department for all deliveries.

Assists in maintaining the location inventory, monitoring for expired products, keeping assigned areas organized and clean, and entering replenishment orders as needed.

Processes returns and credits as required under the supervisor of the Distribution Supervisor

Ensures all supply requisitions are confirmed within the MMIS system and coordinates with Supervisor on any deviations.

Prepares outgoing packages for shipment on a daily bases.
