UCB is looking for an Information Technology Intern to assist in the technical documentation of its U.S. systems including, but not limited to, domain architecture, data flows, integration methods, and conceptual models. Candidate should be wanting to proactively gather need information, document, validate work and present work to various stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Junior/Senior level Undergraduate degree studying Information Technology or Computer Science
Required: Experience using MSFT Visio, Excel, PowerPoint & Word
Required: Education, Training and/or experience documenting domain architecture, data flows, and technical
integrations.
Demonstrates ability to communicated technical terms to non-technical people
Self-starter, able to work independently and with different departments and levels within the organization
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detailed-oriented, thorough, and methodical
Responsibilities:
Create, Edit, Review domain architecture documentation
Gather, analyze and compose complex technical information
Conduct Research
Verify proper technical terminology
Translate technical information into clear, readable documents for non-technical personnel
Organize documentation
Communicate available documentation
Develop, write, and edit functional descriptions, system specifications, special reports, or
any other deliverables and documents.
Provide technical writing support and deciphers directions provided on scripted
storyboards, specifications, etc.
