Key Responsibilities :

• Perform characterization assays such as ddPCR, ELISA, Agarose Gel Electrophoresis, and others with precision and accuracy
• Prepare controls for assays and analyze data using statistical methods to ensure accuracy
• Report results accurately and maintain detailed records in our electronic lab notebook system
• Collaborate with the team, supporting development experiments and collectively working towards research goals
• Manage lab samples and consumables to ensure smooth operations
• Document assay results meticulously and assist with additional duties as assigned

Top Technical Skills :

• Proficiency in executing a range of characterization assays and laboratory techniques
• Strong data organization and documentation skills with attention to detail
• Basic understanding of statistical methods for data analysis
• Familiarity with electronic lab notebook software
• Commitment to upholding ALCOA principles and maintaining quality standards

Experience and Education :

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant Science or Engineering discipline
• 0-2 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred experience with ELISA and / or ddPCR
• Familiarity with software such as JMP and Benchling is advantageous
• Exposure to an ALCOA environment and knowledge of AAV gene therapy vector production are a plus
