Job Summary:

The successful candidate is expected to design, develop and build python based applications/microservice that provide financial valuation, pricing capabilities and reporting in commodity trading and risk management space across the organization. Individual is expected to work independently as well as collaborate with team members on mission critical projects and will be key contributor to REV’s culture, expansion, and commercial success.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Software expertise such as business analysis, design, development, testing, maintenance and support.
• Assess existing technical stack and propose better solution when needed
• Build re-usable and well tested code
• Knowledge of microservice architecture and building distributed application using REST API
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environment
• Knowledge of Dev-ops and CI/CD
• Commodity trading and risk management or fintech experience a plus
• Certification or experience in any popular cloud platform (AWS/Azure/Google) is a
• Collaborate across team and stakeholders

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science, Math or related field
• 2 years Python applications development experience
• Experience with writing PL-SQL queries & working with relational database
• Experience with writing unit and regression test cases in Python
• Knowledge of Multi-threaded programming and Memory management.
• Ability to effectively partner with all stakeholders (both technical and business)
• Strong Object-Oriented design skills
• Strong drive and determination to add value through your actions
• Strong Intellectual curiosity, ownership mentality, entrepreneurial attitude and team work
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
